2016 Drop Twinner Calves

April 26, 2017

The 2016 drop Twiner calves were weaned at 210 day old as cows slipped to condition score 2.5 on rank Phalaris pasture.

Single calves averaged 237 kg live wt , twin reared calves averaged 203 kg live, a weight  advantage of 71 % more calf reared per cow.

The best two cows reared twins averaging 245 kg.
